My Experience in IST.....
Every college reflects the mental, moral, physical
and spiritual development of all those who are a
part of its progress. It holds in its boundaries, the
victories and defeats, the pleasure and pains, the
hope and aspirations of the entire college.
It has already been nine months of college life here in IST, and it
has been a wonderful experience. Going through their own ups and
downs in life, yet every student and teachers always put in their full
effort to shape up our career life and encourage us to build a strong
foundation for our future.
In this generation, we can no longer afford to live in the luxury of
second rated as the world has become highly competitive. Thus, IST
has taken every measure from the very beginning to impart the values
of right attitude while working in the hotel industry. The updated
education provided by the management through various programs
and activities has helped us to understand and absorb the information
around us to succeed.

My middle school Principal once said, "Don't pray for easy lives, pray to be a stronger person". “Don't pray for tasks equal to your powers, pray for powers equal to your task. In this way the doing of yours work shall be no miracle, but you shall be the miracle." That is why we are here in IST to be miracles.
Last but not the least, I would like to thank the faculty teachers and
colleagues for what they are and have been for me. .

Being a student of IST has made me feel much honored. We had a great opportunity of sharing the knowledge with many professional people working in different hotels. So by the help of this college, I come to understand the entire operation in hotels. I think, this college is the best among other hotel management colleges. All the teachers are very friendly with their students. The students do not hesitate to express their feelings and clarify the misunderstandings between the college and the students. |

IST through my eyes…
IST is fully devoted and professionally committed
to build the career pathway of its student. There is
no substitute or alternative for IST except IST.
IST works very hard for individual student to develop
their 'Attitude', 'Skill' and 'knowledge.' So, I feel proud being a part
of IST.
I have chosen IST not because I had to study Hotel Management 'or'
IST was only one option for me. I decided to study in IST because I
found it beyond my expectation. Due to its rules and regulation,
motto of hardworking and positive attitude, friendly, qualified and
experienced teachers, systematic course design, integrated teaching
methodologies, best management team, peaceful learning environment
in the middle of the city I have no doubt to say that “IST is the best
school for student to make their career successful in hospitality
industry.”

It has been almost a year in IST, from day by day, I found IST better
than yesterday. So, I ever like to keep IST inside me.

I am 2004 batch of International School of Tourism and Hotel Management
(IST). I did my first internship in Sheraton Bahrain Hotel and Towers and in near
future I am going to Austria for my second internship.
I got an opportunity to built my carrier in the field of hospitality management.
During my first internship I got hands - on experience on different departments.
The training programme were well planned and the facilities were of very high
standard. |
